Vote Description
SB 177 makes music production eligible for Alabama’s existing film tax rebate, while increasing the rebate’s financial cap. CPAC believes using Alabama taxpayers’ money to chase after film and music creators is foolhardy, and it opposes this bill. SB 177 was passed by the Alabama House of Representatives in a 101-0 vote on May 6, 2025, and it was signed into law by Governor Kay Ivey.
