This bill adds to government obstacles to development and affordable� housing by adding wildlife and habitat connectivityto the Planning and Zoning Law. CPAC views this as another effort to put obstacles in the way of the taxpayers' right to own and develop land and opposed this bill. The Senate passed the bill on August 27, 2024 by a vote of 32-8 and the bill later became law.
