Among other provisions, this bill expands the reporting requirements for pest control businesses to include each pesticide rather than only those pesticides labeled for agricultural use. CPAC opposes the elaborate licensing requirements for a small business that are designed primarily to restrict competition and opposed this bill. The Senate passed the bill on June 27, 2024 by a vote of 29-9 and the bill later became law.
