Vote Description
This bill requires that Colorado achieve a 100% net reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, a significant increase over the target set by previous legislation. It also establishes interim goals that it plans to accomplish between 2030 and 2050. CPAC opposes measures that push the Leftist climate agenda even further Left and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on May 8, 2023 by a vote of 44-19 and the bill later became law.
