This bill authorizes municipalities to place red light and speeding cameras at certain traffic stops. CPAC opposes automated traffic enforcement systems, opposes expanding existing automated enforcement systems, and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on May 23, 2023 by a vote of 104-46 and the bill later became law.
