Vote Description
This bill sets up a framework for the state to begin receiving bids for offshore wind projects. It then allows the state to heavily involve itself in any successful bids for these contracts. CPAC opposes government involvement in the renewable energy industry and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on May 23, 2024 by a vote of 15-6 and the bill was signed into law.
