Vote Description
This bill establishes a new Film Studio tax credit and increases the cap on the film production tax credit from $50,000,000 to $75,000,000. CPAC believes that the government should not subsidize the entertainment industry and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on April 13, 2023 by a vote of 21-1 but the bill never received final approval.
