This bill requires public schools to provide male and female students with separate accommodations for overnight trips. CPAC supports efforts to protect and preserve the privacy of female students and supported this bill. The House voted to override Governor Kelly’s veto of this bill on April 26, 2023 by a vote of 85-39 and the bill later became law.
