This bill adds amusement parks to the list of projects that may be financed by the proceeds from STAR bonds. CPAC does not believe that taxpayers should be placed on the hook to help pay for roller coasters and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on February 23, 2023 by a vote of 72-49 but the bill stalled in the Senate.
