Vote Description
This bill provides for gradual reductions in Louisiana’s franchise tax until it eventually disappears completely. CPAC supports appropriate and broad tax relief whenever possible and supported this bill. The House passed this bill on June 5, 2023 by a vote of 98-0 but the bill was vetoed by Governor Edwards.
