Vote Description
This bill forbids teachers at public institutions of higher education from requiring students to attend protests or making their participation in political activity a condition of receiving a particular letter grade. CPAC supports efforts to promote First Amendment freedoms at colleges and universities and supported this bill. The House passed this bill on May 22, 2024 by a vote of 73-23 and the bill later became law.
