This bill requires companies that have apps to tie child accounts to a parent account so that a parent’s consent is necessary to download any app on a phone. CPAC supports this bill given its endorsement of parental rights over children’s use of technology. The senate passed this bill on June 12, 2025 by a vote of 38-0, and the bill later became law.
