This roll call vote attempts to override a veto that the Governor made of a $3,500,000 appropriation to nonprofit organizations to help them pay for their various security needs. CPAC believes that taxpayers should not be forced to pay for the security expenditures of nonprofit organizations and supported the Governor’s veto. The House overrode the Governor’s line-item veto of of this section on September 27, 2023 by a vote of 130-24.
