Vote Description

This bill requires employers to, when hiring people for a job, list the salary range that they are offering to potential employees in their job postings. It then prohibits employers from penalizing applicants for asking for the range. CPAC opposes measures that allow the government to interfere in the relationships between employers and potential employees and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on October 4, 2023 by a vote of 148-8.
