This bill requires the state to employ a Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion of the State Retirement and Pension System. CPAC opposes the growing DEI apparatus and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on April 5, 2024 by a vote of 98-34 and the bill later became law.
