This bill requires public institutions of higher education to work with students to develop a plan that will help them better access abortion services. CPAC does not believe that it is the role of public universities to help students get abortions, believes abortion is always a human tragedy, opposes its expansion, and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on April 7, 2023 by a vote of 32-11 and the bill later became law.
