Vote Description
This bill makes it such that the minimum wage in Maryland will reach $15 per hour in 2024 rather than 2026. CPAC recognizes that government wage mandates harm the employment opportunities of low-income workers, opposes rapid minimum wage increases, and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on March 17, 2023 by a vote of 31-14 and the bill later became law.
