Vote Description
This bill expands requirements that would allows certain residents in Maine to receive free healthcare services. The bill also prohibits hospitals from reporting unpaid medical debt to consumer reporting agencies. CPAC opposes socialized healthcare systems and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on April 11, 2024 by a vote of 80-64 but the bill died in the Senate.
