This bill requires landlords to inform tenants 75 days in advance of certain rent increases that they plan to make. CPAC does not believe that the government should interfere in the private negotiations between tenants and landlords and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on June 21, 2023 by a vote of 21-13 and the bill later became law.
