This bill repeals a provision in existing law that prohibited entities from hiring transportation for the purpose of transporting people to the polls. CPAC opposes measures that enable election fraud and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on September 27, 2023 by a vote of 56-54 and the bill later became law.
