This bill prohibits insurers from using gender identity as a reason to deny insurance to people. CPAC recognizes that these provisions will be used to create frivolous litigation against insurers and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on June 28, 2023 by a vote of 67-41 and the bill later became law.
