This bill allows the Michigan Public Services Commission to consider climate and equity when making its regulatory decisions. CPAC opposes the doctrine of intersectionality, opposes its entrance into bureaucratic decision-making processes, and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on November 3, 2023 by a vote of 56-52 and the bill later became law.
