This bill prohibits minors and “vulnerable adults” suffering from gender dysphoria from receiving medical treatments designed to affirm their actual gender/sex, not the fictitious gender that they perceive themselves to be. CPAC supports therapies that help children avoid the path of mutilation parroted by transgender ideology and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on February 20, 2023 by a vote of 81-46 and the bill later became law.
