This bill proposes a constitutional amendment that would mandate that the state provide equal treatment to all regardless of sex or other characteristics. CPAC recognizes that the consequences of such legislation would severely undermine women’s rights and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on May 18, 2024 by a vote of 68-62.
