This bill memorializes Congress to recognize the Equal Rights Amendment as the 28th Amendment to the US Constitution. CPAC recognizes that the deadline to ratify the ERA passed decades ago, further recognizes that the ERA will harm women throughout the US, and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on May 17, 2023 by a vote of 42-25 and the bill later became law.
