The Koran amendment to HF 4772 prohibits organizations that receive state funding from making campaign contributions or expending money for political purposes. CPAC supports efforts to prevent the government from cooperating with private entities in cartel-like fashion to enrich each other with taxpayer funds and supported this amendment. The Senate defeated this amendment on April 18, 2024 by a vote of 33-34.
