This bill makes it unlawful for an entity to use public funds to pay the costs of abortion facilities. CPAC believes abortion is always a human tragedy, opposes its practice, believes that taxpayers should not be forced to pay for abortions, and supported this bill. The Senate passed this bill on April 9, 2024 by a vote of 23-10 and the bill later became law.
