This bill establishes a tax credit for investors that make investments in rural areas of the state. CPAC opposes government interference in the private market, believes that it should abstain from attempting to direct investment from favored types of businesses, and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on March 7, 2024 by a vote of 19-14 and the bill was signed into law.
