This bill expands the amount of tax credits that may be given to qualified investors under the Mississippi Small Business Investment Company Act by $45,000,000. CPAC opposes government favoritism toward certain businesses and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on February 20, 2023 by a vote of 49-1 and the bill later became law
