This bill lowers the maximum amount of benefits that an individual may receive in unemployment insurance. CPAC supports efforts to ensure that unemployment insurance remains a temporary bridge between jobs and supported this bill. The House passed this bill on May 2, 2023 by a vote of 65-31 and the bill later became law.
