This bill clarifies that parents have the right to direct the education, upbringing, and moral training of their children. It also recognizes that parents have the right to make medical decisions for their children. CPAC supports efforts to better recognize parental rights and supported this bill. The Senate passed this bill on April 18, 2023 by a vote of 30-20 and the bill later became law.
