This bill extends the expiration date on concealed carry permits from 4 to 5 years. CPAC supports the founders’ belief in the Second Amendment, supports efforts to make the concealed carry permitting process less onerous, and supported this bill. The Senate passed this bill on March 2, 2023 by a vote of 42-8 and the bill later became law.
