This bill requires commercial entities that publish or distribute materials that may be harmful to minors to perform reasonable age verification checks prior to distributing such materials to individuals. CPAC supports efforts to prevent materials of a perverse and sexual nature from reaching the eyes of minors and supported this bill. The Senate passed this bill on April 4, 2023 by a vote of 47-3 and the bill later became law.
