This bill requires that schools designate their sports teams as being exclusively for males, females, or both (coed). It then requires that only females be permitted to play on the teams designated as being exclusively for females. CPAC supports efforts to create a safe and fair environment of play in school sports and supported this bill. The House passed this bill on February 16, 2023 by a vote of 78-15 and the bill later became law.
