Vote Description
This bill prohibits the government from requiring its employees to use another person’s “preferred pronouns.” It also prohibits schools from adopting requirements that force students to use another person’s “preferred pronouns.” CPAC supports efforts to diminish the influence of Leftist ideologies in schools and the government and supported this bill. The House sustained the Governor’s veto of this bill on April 3, 2023 by a vote of 56-36.
