This bill requires that all gas stations sell E-15 gas from at least half of their gas pumps by the year 2024. The bill also increases the income tax credit that retailers who vend E-15 gas receive from 5 to 8 cents per gallon. CPAC supports all forms of energy, does not believe that the government should support one form of energy over another, and opposed this bill. The legislature passed the bill on May 30, 2023 by a vote of 46-0 and the bill later became law.
