This amendment inserts the Nebraska Biodiesel Tax Credit Act into LB 727, the likes of which offers tax credits to retailers that sell biodiesel. CPAC opposes government favoritism toward certain industries and opposed this bill. The legislature passed this bill on May 16, 2023 by a vote of 37-0 and the bill later became law.
