Vote Description
This bill prohibits municipalities from adopting sanctuary policies that have the effect of preventing state officials from cooperating with federal immigration authorities. CPAC supports the enforcement of federal immigration laws and supported this bill. The Senate passed this bill on March 30, 2023 by a vote of 13-10 but the bill never became law.
