This bill prohibits employers from requiring, as a condition of employment, that a worker waive certain privileges. CPAC opposes measures that micromanage employer hiring practices, recognizes that this measure constitutes a severe burden on employers, and opposed this bill. The Assembly passed this bill on May 17, 2023 by a vote of 97-49 but the bill never became law.
