Vote Description

This bill expands provisions requiring that employers disclose salary ranges on their job postings by requiring that such information be provided in disclosures about promotions and transfer opportunities and by requiring that such information be provided when the job is to be performed outside of New York state under the direction of a supervisor in New York. CPAC opposes measures that micromanage employer hiring practices and opposed this bill. The Assembly passed this bill on February 13, 2023 by a vote of 88-50 and the bill later became law.
