Vote Description
This bill prohibits employers from discriminating against employees and potential employees because of their weight. CPAC opposes measures that micromanage employer hiring practices, recognizes that this measure constitutes a severe burden on employers, and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on June 6, 2023 by a vote of 54-8 but the bill never became law.
