Vote Description
This bill prohibits companies that contract with the state from contributing to tropical forest degradation. CPAC opposes measures that further increase the cost of public contractors to gratify Leftist climate ideology and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on May 16, 2024 by a vote of 38-20 but the bill did not become law.
