This bill forces private companies to help foot the costs of climate change mitigation projects. CPAC opposes this obscene attack on private businesses, opposes the gratification of the Left's climate agenda, and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on May 7, 2024 by a vote of 43-17 and the bill later became law.
