HB 141
Driving Up Costs with New Insurance Mandates.
2023 - Ohio House of Representatives

Vote Description
This bill prohibits health benefits plans from imposing cost-sharing requirements for occupational or physical therapy. It then makes the violation of this measure an “unfair and deceptive” practice. CPAC opposes insurance mandates, recognizes that they increase the cost of health benefits plans, and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on December 13, 2023 by a vote of 81-8 but the bill did not progress in the Senate.
