Vote Description

This bill prohibits state agencies and other localities from inhibiting the sale or use of a vehicle based on the power source used to fuel the vehicle. It also prohibits such entities from adopting California’s emissions standards. CPAC supports all forms of energy, believes that the government should not support one form of energy over another, and supported this bill. The Senate passed this bill on December 13, 2023 by a vote of 23-8.
