SB 168
Miscellaneous Positive Changes to Ohio’s Education System.
2023 - Ohio Senate
Vote Description

This bill makes a smorgasbord of conservative changes to the state’s education laws. For example, it eliminates seniority as a preference that may be used when making nonteaching staff reductions, thereby allowing the state to more easily release inefficient administrators. CPAC supports positive changes to the school system and supported this bill. The Senate passed this bill on December 13, 2023 by a vote of 24-7 but the bill did not progress in the House.
