Vote Description
This bill prohibits public fiduciaries from investing retirement funds in order to further ESG objectives. CPAC believes that public fiduciaries should invest state retirement funds based solely on the financial interests of those they represent, not ESG objectives, and supported this bill. The Senate passed this bill on May 10, 2023 by a vote of 26-7 but the bill did not progress in the House.
