This bill allows superintendents to expel students who bring guns to school, make bomb threats or do other things that present a threat of violence to other students and school staff. CPAC believes that students should not be forced to attend school with violent criminals and supported this bill. The Senate passed the bill on December 18, 2024, by a vote of 23-7, and the bill later became law.
