This bill lowers the threshold quantity of jobs that must be created by certain projects in order to qualify for financial incentives from the LEAD Act. CPAC opposes the broadening of bills that direct funds toward government-favored projects and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on February 28, 2023 by a vote of 43-4 and the bill later became law.
