Vote Description
This bill establishes the Oklahoma Aircraft Engine Testing Development Program, the likes of which will offer grants to help expand the state’s aircraft engine testing capabilities. CPAC believes that the government should refrain from favoring certain industries over others, believes that taxpayers should not be forced to pay for these expenses, and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on March 11, 2024 by a vote of 41-4 and the bill later became law.
